YOU MIGHT NOT have been featured in a movie just yet, but here’s your chance to sail in a yacht that has. Set to cruise the Mediterranean this summer is Sarastar, which took on the alias Mediterranean Queen and starred in the 2019 Netflix film Murder Mystery. Anyone say Jennifer Aniston?

Designed by Florentine designer Luca Dini, the yacht looks subdued on the outside, but it’s anything but it once you hop on. Think plush satin and velvet textured headboards and screens that have you viewing marine life up close while remaining dry. The yacht is also impressively large at a length of 60m and a generous beam of 10.8m. You’ll find six en-suite cabins that sleep up to 12 guests, additional quarters for 13 crew and a spacious beach club at the transom.

Rates for this head-turner start from €364,000, though the owner is also open to selling her for a cool €42 million.

2 On Sarastar, it’s not just about the sun and sea, though you’ll get that in spades. For those who need a change in scenery, head up to the sun deck; it’s home to a quaint cactus garden.

1 You’ll notice a heavy emphasis on the play of colours here, from the moment you step into the main saloon with its translucent jade ceiling right till you enter the cabins, each decorated in a different hue such as royal purple and onyx blue.

3 The master cabin comes with fold-out balconies on each side of the room. Enjoy a private meditation session or just allow the sea breeze to caress your skin in the evening with a glass of wine and cigar in hand.

4 You can take your helicopter with you thanks to the provision of a helipad at the foredeck. But for days when you don’t feel like leaving Sarastar, the foredeck also has ample space that can be used as a dance floor or for a wine appreciation session.
