Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky III boxing gloves

Bidding commences on 5 December through Julien’s Auctions in Los Angeles

Many of Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone’s cherished treasures will head to the auction block next month, including these boxing gloves from the actor, screenwriter, fitness icon, author, artist and director’s personal archive of original Rocky items. Carrying an estimate of between US$10,000 and US$20,000, the leather Tuf-Wear boxing gloves are instantly recognisable icons from the 1982 film Rocky III. This isn’t his only set of gloves up for sale – training boxing gloves from the 2006 film Rocky Balboa and those from the Creed instalments (2015 to 2018) will also make an appearance at the auction.
