One For The Road

For its first collaboration of the year, Rimowa has joined forces with fellow German brand Porsche to create the ultimate stylish accessory for road trips, the Rimowa x Porsche HandCarry Case Pepita. Featuring Rimowa’s signature grooved aluminium for the body, the case’s unique pedigree is clearly indicated by Porsche’s crest emblazoned on its front and centre. Meanwhile, its high-gloss finishing is a nod to the first generation 911’s iconic silver trim, accented by black leather straps and polished crestshaped holders recalling traditional hood straps found on classic cars. Other 911-inspired design cues are reflected in the interior, such as the houndstooth-style Pepita seat fabric that has been incorporated into a functional, zipped U-pocket. The limited-edition case – available in only 911 numbered pieces at selected Rimowa stores, Porsche dealerships and Porsche’s online store – will fit into the trunk of a 911 like a glove.
