Hublot Square Bang Unico

Hublot’s new Square Bang Unico is surprising to many. Between the original round Big Bang and the tonneau-shaped Spirit of

Big Bang, one would have thought that the bases were covered, but the Square Bang does indeed have its own wrist presence. It wears as easily as a round watch, but filling out the corners gives it a stronger, more contemporary profile and attitude, and an appeal all its own.

The Square Bang Unico arrives as a collection of five, all with 42mm cases in Hublot’s typically forward-thinking materials; these include titanium, ceramic and King Gold (from CHF21,900). An all-black model in ceramic (CHF24,900) is limited to 250 pieces. The Big Bang’s signature qualities have adapted easily to the Square Bang, including the multi-layered sapphire dial, chronograph movement, and six functional screws on the bezel.
