Patek Philippe 5326G Annual Calendar and Travel Time
Patek Philippe has, for the first time, combined the Annual Calendar and the time zone-hopping Travel Time – two of its signature complications – into a single watch, the 5326G. They are unified in the manner of the manufacture’s usual attention to detail; the Travel Time and Annual Calendar functions are linked, resulting in forwards and backwards date correction as midnights are crossed. The new calibre has eight patents that relate to performance, reliability and safety. It also allowed for the removal of the Travel Time’s usual pushers; everything is now controlled by the crown for a more streamlined look that better showcases the hobnail detailing of the case middle. To go with its 41mm white gold case, the 5326G also debuts a dark grey, textured dial that was inspired by vintage camera cases.
