Buccellati Vintage Couture Collection

-

Whether from the perspective of an investor or a jewellery lover, vintage high jewellery is always a great idea, especially when the pieces are signed by such a great maison as Buccellati. In its Vintage Couture collection, the Italian jeweller unveils a selection of never-before-seen pieces that are rooted in the Buccellati family’s history. Dating from the 1940s to the 1990s, the pieces showcase the elegant stylistic evolution of the maison through the decades. Yet, what is also obvious is how the exceptional craftsmanship and aesthetic DNA unique to Buccellati remains intact.

The exquisite Non Ti Scordar Di Me brooch handcrafted in the 1940s combines leaf-cut and engraved sapphires in a lovely shade of cornflower blue with rose-cut diamonds on a frame of silver with gold lining. Meanwhile, the Rania pendant earrings with their faceted drop-shaped tourmalines highlight Buccellati’s love for stones of exceptional size and colour.

Also evocative of the maison’s style is the Aisha bracelet in solid yellow gold. This oriental-inspired piece curves elegantly in a V shape and its surfaces are covered with the signature rigato engraving and its edges, the ornato engraving. Only available at selected boutiques around the world, Buccellati’s Vintage Couture collection invites jewellery lovers to revisit its illustrious artistic past.
