Patek Philippe 1518 Pink Gold
Bidding commences on 5 November through Phillips in Geneva
Leading Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo’s The Geneva Watch Auction: XVI sale, this historically significant Patek Philippe timepiece from the late 1940s is expected to bring in up to CHF1.6 million at auction. Hailing from a private European collection, where it belonged for nearly two decades, Reference 1518 in pink gold is a tantalising rarity. The majority of reference 1518s – notably the world’s first perpetual calendar chronograph – are available in yellow gold, with pink gold examples rarely being released into the auction market.
