With a cat­a­logue of over 75,000 items from 500 lead­ing man­u­fac­tures and its pre­mium GARANT and qual­ity HOLEX brand, the group’s prod­uct port­fo­lio spe­cialises in tools for cut­ting, clamp­ing, metrol­ogy, grind­ing , hand tools, and work­shop equip­ment and stor­age.

Its di­verse list of clients in­cludes some of the big­gest names in the aero­space in­dus­try, as well as a long list of lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional SMES. To ad­dress the needs of its clients in the man­u­fac­tur­ing in­dus­try, the group has de­vel­oped the GARANT Tool24 Smart­line, an in­no­va­tive track­ing sys­tem through which com­pa­nies can cut pro­cure­ment and ad­min­is­tra­tive costs.

“The GARANT Tool24 Smart­line can be con­fig­ured in such a way that when stocks drop be­low the de­fined re­order lev­els, the pur­chas­ing and sched­ul­ing de­part­ments are no­ti­fied au­to­mat­i­cally and a re­order is sent to the sup­pli­ers. The sys­tem is set up for re­li­able, 24/7 main­te­nance-free op­er­a­tion,” ex­plains Pi­naki Ban­er­jee, manag­ing di­rec­tor of Hoff­man Qual­ity Tools Asia Pa­cific.

The Group has also de­vel­oped the topof-the line GARANT TPC Milling Cut­ter for one of its lead­ing clients in the aero­space in­dus­try. “The avi­a­tion in­dus­try works with ex­treme ma­te­ri­als, such as In­conel al­loys. Th­ese re­quire ex­treme millers to per­form the task, and GARANT’S Tri­co­dial Milling Cut­ter is the only cut­ter that can per­form this spe­cific task within the short­est time and achieve a lower cost and higher per­for­mance,” Ban­er­jee ex­plains.
