INNOVATION/INVENTION

• Hansgrohe’s pioneering innovations include the Tribel shower head (1974), the first multi-spray hand shower featuring a rotating shower head, and Select technology (2014), which enables users to control the flow of water with the push of a button. The Group invests heavily in future-oriented technologies, such as PVD (physical vapour deposition) surface finishing processes, which makes it possible to customise the finishes of showers and taps in different colours.

DESIGN

• Hansgrohe brought top-class, customisable design to the bathroom, significantly changing the way we perceive bathrooms. A number of the world’s most successful designers work with the Hansgrohe Group, including Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, JeanMarie Massaud and Patricia Urquiola. To date, the company has won more than 500 design awards, making it the design leader in the industry.

• Hansgrohe Group upholds stringent quality management standards at all its sites worldwide, and is regularly audited by internationally recognised certification groups. Only safe, robust, and sustainable products are released; all prototypes are subjected to thousands of cycles of rigorous testing, and essential components such as cartridges are produced exclusively by Hansgrohe in Germany.
