This German sanitary fittings manufacturer has won countless awards and its products are a mainstay in prestigious buildings around the world.
Founder Hans Grohe may have set up his namesake brand as a small-scale metal pressing workshop in the Black Forest in 1901, but over the years, the group has enjoyed tremendous success. Today, the group is one of the leading bathroom and kitchen fittings manufacturers with its brands AXOR and hansgrohe—an achievement it attributes to its culture of innovation, design and quality.

In 2019, the hansgrohe Rainfinity showers won the if Design Gold Award and the coveted “Best of Best” distinctions in the 2019 Iconic Awards: Innovative Architecture competition.
Hansgrohe launched several new products in 2019, and these do not disappoint. The AXOR Myedition taps offer sleek, linear design and comes in four finishes. It can also be custom-made to cater to your design preferences; you can mix AXOR Finishplus PVD surfaces with a series of exclusive AXOR Signature materials and colours. There are more than 225 design choices to choose from, too. The durable taps also have brilliant finishes and feature the innovative Powderrain spray type. “AXOR Myedition sets the stage for personal creativity, allowing you to make a statement through customised interiors,” says Andreas Diefenbach of Phoenix Design.
The new collection of AXOR showers also impresses with its immaculate aesthetic and water experience. Designed in collaboration with the Stuttgart-based Phoenix Design, these overhead showers come in square and round models, and is enhanced with dynamic spray nozzles, matching thermostatic modules and finely polished edges. “The showers’ design and material will lend your bathroom a flawless appearance,” opines Olivier Sogno, Hansgrohe Group’s vicepresident of brand management.
The group also prioritises green practices, and champions a range of good causes such as water conversation. The products undergo stringent quality management, and are made with sustainable production methods. “These measures have cemented our status in the industry, and it’s why our customers love AXOR and hansgrohe,” says Brand.
