Known for: Enviable inventory Founder and designer: Jessie Foo When Jessie set up Yuli Inc. – Fine Jewellery 21 years ago, one of her aims was to educate customers on the value of rare coloured gemstones, as not many people appreciated stones beyond the big four (diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds). Today, a visit to her showroom at Palais Renaissance will reveal spellbinding gems of all colours and quality. Tray after tray of coloured stones, one more exquisite than the other, were brought out and we discovered rarely seen before stones such as nephrites and sphenes.
