With Francesca Amfitheatrof— the woman behind Tiffany & Co’s popular Tiffany T designs—on board as artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s watches and jewellery, many are looking forward to see her apply her contemporary touch on the French maison’s most precious creations.

And that is what she gave us in its latest high jewellery release, Riders of the Knights. It is a collection that pays tribute to mediaeval figures. While the unusual theme makes no reference to modernity, the designer’s signature aesthetic filters through these jewellery pieces via architectural lines that channel a restrained form of elegance and femininity.
