This year, Montblanc is looking back on its own history with the development of the Heritage collection. Paying tribute to the traditions that first established its Minerva manufacture as a purveyor of exceptional timepieces, the German luxury giant is bringing vintage aesthetics to the forefront. The results are subtle yet innovative, comprising six 1940s- and ’50s-inspired models. Take the Heritage GMT, Heritage Perpetual Calendar and Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition, for instance. Their designs are faithful to the look of the old Minerva creations but equipped with new movements, many of which push modern watchmaking limits.
