SEA GAMES CHALLENGE TROPHY EXHIBITION FINAL
The humidity in the air and the gloomy dark clouds in the sky that Sunday afternoon signalled the incoming rain, but it didn’t stop well-heeled polo enthusiasts from turning up in full force at the Singapore Polo Club to catch the finals of the SEA Games Challenge. That afternoon, the Singapore Polo Club I and the Singapore national team battled it out for first and second place, while runners-up the Singapore Polo Club II and the Hong Kong Polo Team 4, which is supported by Pegasus Food Futures, competed for the third and fourth spots. However, inclement weather and the wet field stopped both matches in the second and third chukkas respectively, resulting in the Hong Kong Polo Team 4 bagging third place, and the Singapore Polo Club I being declared the final winner of the tournament.
