The stop-seconds device for the tourbillon presented by Lange in 2008 made it possible to precisely halt and set such a watch. Now, the 1815 Tourbillon takes this development a step further: thanks to the integration of the ZERO-RESET function, the seconds hand jumps to the zero position when the watch is stopped, allowing the watch to be exactly set and restarted to the second. The precise interaction of the mechanisms is rounded out with a balance spring crafted by Lange. It is individually customised to each calibre.
