More than a decade since her breakout role in Mean Girls, the Hollywood star has gone on to prove her acting (and singing) credentials with meaty roles such as Cosette in Les Misérables. We chat with the face of Clé de Peau Beauté What is the one thing you would never do in the name of looking beautiful?
I would never undergo surgery. You can come after me if that changes.
What is your personal style like?
Casual and comfortable. I love cashmere sweaters, jeans and shorts. I recently splurged on an Elder Statesman sweater. They’re insanely expensive, but I’m going to wear that sweater every day of my life. Just kidding!
Who is your personal beauty icon?
I’ve ’ve never thought abo aboutt it, but I think it’s my mum, because she’s really happy. She’s chosen her own path and she feels really empowered by that.
What is your dream role?
I would really love ove to play singer Eva Cassidy, but ut they’ve already y made a movie on her. I would also love to play Glinda in Wicked.
How has your beauty routine changed since you’ve become a mum?

My farm. I love it so much. I haven’t been there since Christmas and it’s summer now, so I’ve got a lot of goats that I haven’t met yet. I have a caretaker who runs the place and helps the goats get to know each...
What is yo your favourite item from the latest Clé de Peau Beauté autumn/winter make-up collection?
Probably the lipstick in No 8 [Red Lantern]. It’s not a bright red, it’s a deeper, cooler, browner red, which I prefer. It’s very matte, it’s very fun.
