I dis­cov­ered this hole-in-the-wall restau­rant when I was cov­er­ing the Basel­world watch fair one year in Basel, Switzer­land, and I’ve been yearn­ing to go back. It serves in­no­va­tive mod­ern Euro­pean cui­sine with a fo­cus on fresh, sea­sonal and lo­cal pro­duce. While its menu is com­pact, I’d sug­gest go­ing for the omakase. Tell the chefs your likes and dis­likes, and let them sur­prise you, like they did for me.
