Since it opened in 2004, Momofuku has grown to become a New York food institutio­n. Its noodles and ramen, as well as shiitake buns— made with just mushrooms, hoisin sauce, scallion and cucumber—are hugely popular. But unfortunat­ely, I didn’t have time to pop by during my last visit to the Big Apple. I also really want to try its Caviar and Fried Chicken Meal, where two whole birds are fried and paired with two types of caviar (above). How indulgent!
