Golf en­thu­si­asts can ex­pect an ex­cep­tion­ally high stan­dard of play as de­fend­ing cham­pion Ser­gio Gar­cia re­turns to vie for the ti­tle and a prize purse of at least US$1M, along­side Amer­i­can leg­end Davis Love III who will be mak­ing his de­but at the tour­na­ment. The 53rd Sin­ga­pore Open also serves as the open­ing event for the Asian Tour and Ja­pan Golf Tour Or­ga­ni­za­tion for the third suc­ces­sive year, and it is also part of The Open Qual­i­fy­ing Series, which means four play­ers will se­cure their spots at the 148th Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club in North­ern Ire­land, in July. sm­bc­sin­ga­pore­open.com
