Expert Care

Singapore Tatler - - FACES -

The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) celebrated its 10th anniversary with a fundraising gala dinner at the Shangri-la Hotel, Singapore last November. NCIS has come a long way since its early days as an ambulatory service to become a one-stop facility providing holistic and comprehensive paediatric and adult cancer care, management and treatment. During the dinner, 27-year-old cancer survivor Joseph Lee shared onstage how he overcame two relapses with fierce tenacity, and the help of an expert team of doctors and a supportive family. To further its pursuit of providing excellent care and helping patients navigate the complexities of cancer, NCIS will launch a yet-tobe-named mobile app in Q2 this year, made available first to its breast and colorectal cancer patients.
