Film festival fever hits us...

Abigail Yeo Senior Account Manager, Beauty

My favourite movie of all time is…

“Titanic, as cliched as it sounds. I was young and with a runtime of 190 minutes, the movie was very long so it was totally worth its ticket price. Of course, the romantic story of Rose and Jack was also very captivating for a secondary school student!”

Phyllicia Wang Assistant Photographer

My favourite movie of all time is… “In The Mood For Love. It’s a classic masterpiece that keeps inspiring me with its beautiful cinematography and intimate love story. Also, Maggie Cheung’s selection of qipaos in the film is so stunning, I couldn’t take my eyes off them!”

Hesta Foong Head of Publishing Services

My favourite movie of all time is… “Harry Potter, all of them! The overall story is filled with mystery and set in a world unlike ours, the wizarding world. The beautiful animatronics and special effects throughout the individual movies have never failed to capture my imagination while the unique characters are especially entertaining.”

Xu Mei Yan Graphic Designer

My favourite movie of all time is… “Mission Impossible: Fallout.

I was really impressed that Tom Cruise took the risk of doing all the stunt work for his action scenes himself. You can really see the difference in the quality of this movie because of his dedication to his craft.”

Ajit Abraham Account Director, Banking & Insurance

My favourite movie of all time is… “Chariots of Fire, a historical drama about two athletes at the 1924 Olympics. Seeing the sheer faith and passion of someone who believes on display – that level of clarity and confidence is something to aspire to. The film encourages all of us to do what we truly love, with all our best abilities – so inspirational!”
