started off as a bartender in a cocktail bar at 18. In 2010, Gerald Lu became the youngest champion of the National Sommelier Competition at 25 years old. He is now the co-owner of Praelum Wine Bistro and vice president of the Sommelier Association of Singapore. Sommeliers and holds an Advanced Certificate from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. He was also awarded the Johanninger Wine Scholarship in 2012, and won Singapore's National Sommelier Competition 2015. Vincent now spearheads the beverage programme at Odette as head sommelier.
