Art Nou­veau meets Steam­punk at this lofty restau­rant in the up­per reaches of An­daz Sin­ga­pore. With a small seat­ing ca­pac­ity and din­ner-only ser­vice on week­days, reser­va­tions are es­sen­tial. That said, the phone some­times goes unan­swered and the restau­rant only takes walk-ins af­ter 7.30pm. Should you snag a ta­ble, ask for one by the win­dow to get a bird’s eye view of the city be­low.

Ap­pe­tis­ers such as the salmon ce­viche with salmon roe are bet­ter than dishes from the main menu, which in­clude a tooth­fish fillet and grain-fed rib­eye. Desserts here are large and made for shar­ing. The baked Alaska with pas­sion fruit and rasp­berry sauce is fun, al­beit a lit­tle messy.

While the menu is pork­free and meats are sourced from halal sup­pli­ers, al­co­hol is avail­able at this restau­rant.
