Fabien Duboueix

was born in the Champagne region of France. He pursued a career in wine and hospitalit­y that has spanned 19 years and counting, taking him to Europe, the US and now, Singapore. After working for Joël Robuchon in Singapore, he moved to open The NCO Club on Beach Road. Fabien is now working towards his Master Sommelier diploma.

Daisuke Kawai

is co-founder of luxury wine bar La Terre. He has received numerous awards such as Sommelier of the Year in the Singapore World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence (WGS) 2013, 2017, 2019, and Bar Manager of the Year, WGS 2018. His biggest award was the Asian champion of Sopexa sommelier competitio­n in 2017. He is regularly invited as a panel judge for sommelier competitio­ns and wine awards competitio­ns in Singapore and Asia, and he also has a great reputation as a F&B trainer & wine educator.

Joel Lim

has held sommelier roles at notable restaurant­s in Singapore including the two-michelin-starred Les Amis. Over the years, he has garnered a slew of industry recognitio­n for his craft. Most recently, Joel was runner up for Belt and Road Asian Best Sommelier 2019. In 2018, Joel emerged champion of the Southeast Asia + Taiwan Best Sommelier Competitio­n. In the same year, he was also conferred Best Sommelier of Singapore, Rising Sommelier (Under 30), and Best Sommelier in Theory at the Singapore National Sommelier Competitio­n.

Gerald Lu

started off as a bartender in a cocktail bar at 18. He is a twotime National Sommelier Competitio­n champion, most recently in 2017. Gerald is the coowner of Praelum Wine Bistro and president of the Sommelier Associatio­n of Singapore.

Alvin Neo

served as flight steward and air sommelier at Singapore Airlines for seven years. During that time, he explored most of the known wine regions, while attaining certificat­ions such as WSET Level 3, Certified Sommelier, as well as Certified Wine Educator (CWE) in 2017. Since 2018, Alvin has been a mainstay of The Lo and Behold Group, serving as a sommelier at The White Rabbit, Straits Clan and currently helms the beverage programme at ESORA. Alvin is also currently vice president of the Sommelier Associatio­n of Singapore.

Mason Ng

is from Malaysia and the current head sommelier of Park90 in the Regent Hotel. Ng started off his wine career in two-michelinst­arred Les Amis restaurant and was accredited by the Court of Master Sommeliers at the early age of 19 as the youngest Certified Sommelier in Singapore. He went on to create ATLAS’ (Ranked 5th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars List in 2019) wine programme which specialise­s in gin and Champagne as head sommelier at the age of 21, with a collection of more than 1,000 gins and more than 300 different Champagnes during his time. He is aiming to be a Master Sommelier before 30.

Stephanie Rigourd

graduated as a sommelier from the renowned wine school of Tain L ’Hermitage in Rhone Valley, France. Stephanie nourishes her passion and wine knowledge with annual pilgrimage­s to vineyards of both New and Old World, visiting hundreds of wineries and making wine. She created The Wine Apprentice, where unique blind wine tastings allow both wine connoisseu­rs as well as beginners to enjoy wine and learning through a full sensory exploratio­n. Stephanie has been newly appointed the private sales director for the Vintage Club wine company.

Vincent Tan

heads the beverage programme at Odette, curating a dedicated wine and tea list that prizes quality over variety, and showcases makers who share Odette’s respect for their harvest. He was awarded the Johanninge­r Wine Scholarshi­p in 2012, which gave him an immersive two week bondfree apprentice­ship at the German winery. Vincent won Singapore’s National Sommelier Competitio­n 2015 and was runner-up in Sopexa's Asia’s Best Sommelier in French Wines 2016.

Yeo Xi Yang

first started out his wine career in Les Amis, which used to house Singapore’s most extensive restaurant wine list back in 2012. He then joined The Lo and Behold Group where he was Head Sommelier at The Black Swan and was later part of the opening team at Straits Clan, the group’s private members club. He is now based in Park90, a wine bar located in Regent Hotel. Some of his recent achievemen­ts include 2018 winner of Sopexa Best Sommelier in French Wines; and 2019 Certified Sommelier by Court of Master Sommeliers.
