This restaurant is typically filled with locals seeking a not-widely-available cuisine, as well as gourmands who keep coming back for a hearty meal. Dishes here are filling and flavourful, and go beyond the steak options one would expect from other Argentinian restaurants. A good start is the grilled watermelon and tomato salad, which comes with a luscious wild garlic pesto and pine nuts. It whets the appetite for the ojo de bife, a 300g rib-eye steak that should ideally be had medium-rare so that its relatively fatty meat remains juicy and pinkish. Those dining in pairs can afford to take on another great beef dish—the beef and bone marrow burger, which uses a generous portion of braised ox cheek for a tender and satisfying bite every time. The restaurant also has a nice selection of alcoholic beverages, including Argentinian wines and tasty cocktails using liqueurs from various parts of South America.
