The menu is comprehensive and covers the requisite bases: cold and warm starters, imaginative pastas and delectable mains. Seafood and meats share equal emphasis and are well executed. The red prawn battuto starter is fresh and inviting—a tartare served with a dollop of caviar for maximum flavour, but kept light to prepare you for the courses to come. Pastas are expertly al dente and properly sauced, be it the piquant spaghetti with octopus and paprika or the creamy, umami-rich tagliolini with Alaskan king crab. For the mains, the Mayura beef striploin is grilled just right (we recommend medium-rare) and is assertively flavoured, topped with a lush selection of grilled vegetables.
