Chef Sebastian Ng dishes out modern European fare with an Asian twist that lets the freshness of the ingredients (and his skills) shine through. The homemade tofu has an earthiness that contrasts amazingly well with the foie gras mirin sauce. A standout is the cold pasta with shaved abalone, tossed with konbu and truffle oil; the pasta has just the right amount of bite and is complemented by the earthiness of the truffle. Conclude the meal with the pear tart with a side of potent Baileys ice cream. Service is prompt and attentive, and is able to handle the frantic pace of the downtown crowd.
