Chef Se­bas­tian Ng dishes out mod­ern Euro­pean fare with an Asian twist that lets the fresh­ness of the in­gre­di­ents (and his skills) shine through. The home­made tofu has an earth­i­ness that con­trasts amaz­ingly well with the foie gras mirin sauce. A stand­out is the cold pasta with shaved abalone, tossed with konbu and truf­fle oil; the pasta has just the right amount of bite and is com­ple­mented by the earth­i­ness of the truf­fle. Con­clude the meal with the pear tart with a side of po­tent Bai­leys ice cream. Service is prompt and at­ten­tive, and is able to han­dle the fran­tic pace of the down­town crowd.
