The creative energy behind the restaurant’s menu is chef Yohhei Sasaki, known for his Japanese flair. His stuffed calamari is succulent, while the spaghetti ai ricci di mare—uplifted by Hokkaido sea urchin—is a unique blend of flavours. The crowning glory of the menu is the Toriyama wagyu A4 and the short ribs. The flavouring is exquisite and the meat beautifully tender. The tiramisu is good, but eclipsed by the la sfera, a delectable concoction of yuzu, ricotta cheese, lemon sorbet and acacia honey gel. It’s not overly sweet or tart, just how we like it.
