The plump Pek­ing Ir­ish duck is the real at­trac­tion here; the crisp, golden brown skin is smoky and fra­grant, and the flesh is ut­terly ten­der. The king prawns, which are easy to peel, are served in a red­dish-gold curry sauce—best eaten with the fried prawns to mop up all the sauce. The Sri Lankan crabs with ver­mi­celli is en­livened by the slightly sweet san bei sauce. Fin­ish with the aloe vera jelly or mango with pomelo for a cool­ing ef­fect. The restau­rant also of­fers a com­pact wine list of old and new world wines, in­clud­ing one house pour and a se­lec­tion of Chi­nese wine. Staff are cour­te­ous, at­ten­tive, with good knowl­edge of what they’re serv­ing.
