Nine years on, this all-day din­ing venue re­mains a pop­u­lar place for in­spired Mediter­ranean fare. Granted, there are dishes that could be a lit­tle more pol­ished, but there are clear stand­outs, too, such as the de­light­ful Mediter­ranean mezze plat­ter and the pan-seared seabass served with green peas, kumquat, black gar­lic and cashew sauce. The for­mer is a se­lec­tion of slow-cooked oc­to­pus leg, home­made ham cro­quettes and tab­bouleh salad, that is ideal for two to three din­ers to share; the lat­ter has a firm tex­ture com­ple­mented by pi­quant and creamy sauces. For dessert, stick to clas­sics, such as chur­ros served with choco­late sauce, whipped cream and lemon curd; sim­ple yet sat­is­fy­ing. Ser­vice is warm and cour­te­ous.


As some ar­eas of the restau­rant are warmer than oth­ers, it’s worth re­serv­ing the more com­fort­able win­dow seats in ad­vance—where there’s also a nice view.
