T. Dining by Singapore Tatler - - Indian -

Occupying the lobby space of The Fullerton Bay Hotel and the location of the original Clifford Pier, this restaurant boasts a classic and romantic ambience, which is why it’s so popular with couples looking to hold their wedding receptions. Plush armchairs and couches are spaciously arranged in the open hall, affording privacy for diners. The menu presents a wide variety of cuisine, with the signature dishes being Singapore’s heritage hawker fare—from soup kambing to Hainanese chicken rice. The Pier’s lobster roll makes for an appetising starter, with succulent butter-poached lobster lightly seasoned with mayonnaise and chives, and served in a brioche bun. The wagyu beef rendang is a sumptuous rendition of a common Malay dish, featuring tender shredded beef braised in coconut and local spices and served on a bed of fragrant jasmine rice. For dessert, The Pier’s local ice cream makes for a creatively plated sweet ending to your meal, with flavours ranging from pandan to teh tarik.
