Try the ten­der, spicy beef ren­dang paired with fra­grantly rich nasi minyak. Other favoured items in­clude slow-roasted beef sir­loin, kueh pie tee and sal­mon fil­let with tangy citrus sauce. The desserts are al­ways pop­u­lar, es­pe­cially the creamy straw­berry cheese­cake. From the à la carte menu, the aro­matic prawn noo­dle soup with rich stock and suc­cu­lent king prawns is rec­om­mended. The wine list cov­ers a fair ge­o­graph­i­cal range. Staff do their best in this busy restau­rant, which serves as a haven from the city’s hus­tle and bus­tle with its sooth­ing wa­ter fea­tures, green­ery and high ceil­ings. One is trans­ported to the com­fort of na­ture by the cre­ative dé­cor, which en­com­passes paddy fields, wa­ter­falls, ver­dant moss and a bridge, and fea­tures the use of wood, mar­ble, glass, mir­rors and stain­less steel.
