TEL: 6736 3833 Rem­i­nis­cent of the Chi­nese restau­rants of yes­ter­year, Peach Gar­den at Ho­tel Miramar, while not lav­ishly dec­o­rated, brings about a sense of fa­mil­iar­ity with no pre­ten­tious­ness at all. It’s busy and noisy, with the clang­ing of porce­lain spoons ring­ing through­out the restau­rant. And like any Chi­nese restau­rant on a Sun­day, you’ll be sure to find the place packed and wait­ers busy. But don’t let that de­ter you; the staff are still prompt and at­ten­tive, en­sur­ing you get your food on time. The dim sum served here is de­cent, es­pe­cially the fried car­rot cake with XO chilli sauce that comes with a gen­er­ous help­ing of chopped Chi­nese sausage, bean sprouts and egg. The stewed ver­mi­celli with fish fil­let, bit­ter gourd and black bean sauce doesn’t seem im­pres­sive at first glance, but all doubts will be cleared with the first bite. While it leans to­wards the salty side, the dish brings am­ple de­li­cious­ness.
