The Price of Rice

Japan’s Tawaraya rice, available in Singapore for the first time, is a welcome indulgence in our rice-obsessed nation. Brought in by rice sommelier Yuichi Sato, it has been certified by the Global Good Agricultural Practice as organic, which means it’s grown without the use of chemicals, pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.
