Buona Terra
Buona Terra is a convenient escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Diners have the option to choose the four- or five-course menu, and also have the freedom to customise it. The Carbonara Diversa is an outstanding creation cooked without the use of cream; chef Denis Lucchi sprinkles it with grated house-cured egg yolk and seasonal truffles for added umami. The Japanese tilefish is cooked until the scales are crisp, and is presented beautifully on a plate with zucchini flower filled with Japanese hairy crab. Carnivores will adore the nutty and aromatic charcoal-grilled Ibérico secreto, which pairs well with wines. The wine list is carefully curated by knowledgeable sommelier Gabriele Rizzardi and there’s a wide range of choices—from mid-range bottles to stellar ones such as Domaine de la Romanée-conti. Adding to the memorable experience is the sincere service; the staff make you feel as if you’re visiting a close friend’s home.
TATLER TIP
There’s a focused list of wines by the glass, but you’ll get the best selection when you let the capable sommelier know your preferences.
