Ky­oto na­tive Kazuhiro Ha­mamoto stud­ied cook­ing at the pres­ti­gious Ky­oto Culi­nary Art Col­lege. He fur­ther trained in pres­ti­gious es­tab­lish­ments in Ja­pan, in­clud­ing Kichisen, which earned its third Miche­lin star in 2014. He moved to Sin­ga­pore to help open ac­claimed restau­rant Waku Ghin; and in 2013, he be­came Ki-sho’s res­i­dent chef, where he serves tan­ta­lis­ing kaiseki omakase menus in­spired by the beau­ti­ful sea­sons of his na­tive coun­try.
