Kyoto native Kazuhiro Hamamoto studied cooking at the prestigiou­s Kyoto Culinary Art College. He further trained in prestigiou­s establishm­ents in Japan, including Kichisen, which earned its third Michelin star in 2014. He moved to Singapore to help open acclaimed restaurant Waku Ghin; and in 2013, he became Ki-sho’s resident chef, where he serves tantalisin­g kaiseki omakase menus inspired by the beautiful seasons of his native country.
