Com­ing from a food-lov­ing fam­ily, it was only nat­u­ral for se­nior sous chef Ter­ence Ong Say Wei to take on this daunt­ing but re­ward­ing path. He be­gan his ca­reer at 17 and trained at Stel­lar at 1-Al­ti­tude, where he was ex­posed to con­tem­po­rary Euro­pean cook­ing and how to seam­lessly blend it with Ja­panese cui­sine. He has been with Kinki since 2014, con­stantly reimag­in­ing dishes that keep gour­mands com­ing back for more.
