Mitzo
As far as modern interpretations of traditional Cantonese dishes go, Mitzo’s special barbecued pork is simply outstanding. The tender meat is cooked perfectly and features a deliciously sweet caramelised char that leaves you wanting more. Try the premium dim sum platter; the duo of shrimp and steamed duck dumpling is paired with exquisite ingredients like caviar and baby abalone, which provide robust and rich flavours that elevate an otherwise humble dish. Worth ordering as well is the baked cheese live lobster with creamy lemon sauce; the sweetness of the crustacean works remarkably well with the tartness of the sauce, and showcases the chef’s creativity. The interiors reflect the restaurant’s edge, with a glitzy look made complete by colourful glass panels and golden hanging lamps. The staff are dressed to impress and are always on hand to give recommendations.
