DOLCE VITA

-

Dolce Vita’s relaxed and pleasant atmosphere— with a stellar view of the Singapore skyline to boot—complements chef de cuisine

Giorgio Maggioni’s authentic Italian fare. The freshness of the ingredients is paramount, evident in starters like the lobster tartare, which is blanched beautifully and paired with a cauliflower and tomato salad that’s accented with sherry vinegar dressing. Try the deliciously seasoned tagliata di manzo: a generous portion of roasted US prime beef bone-in ribeye accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. While desserts like the panna cotta or tiramisu are obvious choices, opt for the tè nero e ciliegia instead. The smooth and rich sweetness from the Earl Grey ivory chocolate mousse is in perfect harmony with the tartness from the morello cherry sorbet—a combination that’s scrumptious and absolutely divine. The restaurant has a good wine selection of Italian and French labels, and service staff are attentive and accommodating.
