This elegant, scenic waterside restaurant offers memorable French food to go with the view. The lobster and scallop carpaccio is a beautifully presented plate of lobster medallions and finely sliced scallops topped with fresh truffle shavings, micro-herbs, shiso leaves and a bright, citrus-based dressing.

For something lighter, but no less delicious, the lobster à l’américaine presents angelhair pasta with a light Roma tomato sauce, punched up with fresh garlic and basil, and is topped with a whole fresh lobster. For mains, the steak and frites hits the spot with juicy, quality meat and fries, while the supreme de canard confit offers up a leg of duck that is tender and lusciously aromatic. What’s truly memorable is the lovely selection of steak knives for the diner to choose from, as well as the array of mustards and condiments on offer. Service here is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
