The squid-ink tagliolini is always a delight, with the pasta having just the right amount of bite and tossed with a thick squid-ink sauce that brims with seafood flavours. Another highlight is the wagyu steak, slapped on the grill until it’s nicely browned, with an interior that remains pink and juicy. As tempting as it may sound to order the usual suspects of tiramisu and gelato, the bomba di cioccolato, which arrives as a ball of chocolate, is delectably good. Hot berry compote is poured over the top to reveal a tasty treat of hazelnut praline mousse with a crunchy feuilletine base. Another option is the dessert cigar, which is a lapsang souchong teainfused chocolate cigar served with olive oil ice cream. Like any good Italian meal, it’s never complete without wines, and the restaurant has a decent list to cater to all palates. Service is always on-point, with friendly staff attentive to every diner’s need.
