The menu features classic Peranakan dishes and Singaporean favourites and they’re finely spiced to excite the taste buds, but not overly seasoned. The specialities all sing, especially the supercrispy kuay pie tee with a devilishly hot sambal accompaniment, and a beef rendang that’s amazingly tender. Dishes are served on gleaming china with an attractive Violet Oon logo on them, adding to the sense of heritage and identity. The staff are exceptional, smartly dressed and knowledgeable about the menu.
