TEL: 6736 3833 Reminiscent of the Chinese restaurants of yesteryear, Peach Garden at Hotel Miramar, while not lavishly decorated, brings about a sense of familiarity with no pretentiousness at all. It’s busy and noisy, with the clanging of porcelain spoons ringing throughout the restaurant. And like any Chinese restaurant on a Sunday, you’ll be sure to find the place packed and waiters busy. But don’t let that deter you; the staff are still prompt and attentive, ensuring you get your food on time. The dim sum served here is decent, especially the fried carrot cake with XO chilli sauce that comes with a generous helping of chopped Chinese sausage, bean sprouts and egg. The stewed vermicelli with fish fillet, bitter gourd and black bean sauce doesn’t seem impressive at first glance, but all doubts will be cleared with the first bite. While it leans towards the salty side, the dish brings ample deliciousness.
