Dishes are refined and upmarket versions of your zi char favourites, yet are affordable enough that you wouldn’t mind bringing your family here every weekend. The menu stays true to the Cantonese culinary traditions, with a few creative tweaks from the chef. The stirfried ramen with lobster in XO sauce is a good example. It’s served in a generous portion and packs a decent punch, with the ramen noodles (used instead of ee fu) soaking up all the delicious flavours. Another hit is the chargrilled spare ribs, its meaty richness enhanced by the zingy plum sauce; the savoury dish complements the accompanying rice to a T.
