Tasty, modern Japanese fare served with a lovely view of the Marina Bay is the order of the day at this energetic space, anchored by a colourful mural and graffiti-clad walls. The kitchen serves some intriguing takes on traditional fare, including a sublime foie gras and scallop sushi slicked with a teriyaki-like glaze, and a tai carpaccio perfumed with an addicitively delicious truffle sauce. Both the food and drinks lists are almost mind-boggling, so it’s a good thing the service staff are well-versed in the myriad offerings and able to make recommendations. The rooftop bar, which offers a fantastic view of the surrounding waters, is an excellent place for a pre-prandial drink as the sun sets.
