The Black Swan is famous for its flamboyant art deco design. It’s housed in The Quadrant in the central business district, and is a convenient spot for lunch and business meetings. Start with the Vidalia onion broth, which showcases the sweetness of the vegetable with every bite. Meat takes pride of place here—the 400 days grain-fed Stockyard wagyu rib-eye, cooked to medium-rare with just the right amount of smoky notes, is a must-order. There are worthy seafood dishes, too, namely the lobster thermidor drenched with all the deliciousn­ess from the mornay sauce, and with a side of fries. There’s an impressive wine list comprising notable champagnes, whites and reds, as well as whiskies and other spirits.
