Casa Tartufo offers scrumptious northern Italian cuisine that’s unpretentious, yet memorable. The Arancine Casa delivers on hearty flavours, with the crispy rice balls served in a creamy sauce, and sprinkled with finely chopped spring onion. The quartet of scallops are juicy and plump; they’re seared perfectly and topped with caviar and parmigiano cheese, and served with fresh tomato and flakes of shaved truffle. The tajarin pasta is an excellent comfort dish; it’s heady, with warm truffle flavours, and is one of the best angel-hair pastas in town. The pork is beautifully braised then caramelised; its tender and aromatic flesh, doused in its braising liquid, is complemented by red pepper, potato and cherry sauce.
