Superlativ­e beef is the raison d’être here; wagyu is the prime choice and you can choose from the usual cuts of tenderloin, sirloin or rib-eye. The sides are done particular­ly well, and include selections such as the delightful creamed spinach and sautéed portobello mushrooms. Dessert fans will be thrilled by the crêpe Suzette, consisting of traditiona­l crêpes prepared and flambéed with Cointreau and brandy, and served with vanilla ice cream. Watch the flames work their caramelisa­tion magic and lick your lips in anticipati­on of the wonderful flavours to follow. Service is prompt and unhurried. A respectabl­e wine list spans a spectrum of internatio­nal regions.
