The starter of deep-fried frog legs with Chinese five-spice is a unanimous favourite. The batter is crisp and light, and the spices whet the appetite. Equally well received are the doubleboiled assorted seafood soup, the delicate braised homemade tofu with spinach and crabmeat, and the luscious slow-cooked pork ribs with lychee sauce, served with golden mantou for dipping.
