Hawkee, the latest food court at Frasers Tower, is helmed by robots. Jaromel Gee, the founder of local tech start-up Epic Food & Beverage and the man behind this unique concept, explains: “We want to use robotic cooking and artificial intelligen­ce to preserve the art of hawker culture and uphold the recipes, consistenc­y and, ultimately, the art form of hawker cooking.” At your service is Robot Diana, one of 10 robots programmed to whip up delicious hawker delights such as hokkien mee and crayfish white bee hoon—redolent of delicious wok hei flavour.
